Prerequisites and compatibility checks
- Define the Infopoint count, connected equipment types and sampling rate before selecting capacity.
- For on-premises deployment, verify CPU, RAM, storage and operating-system requirements against the exact part number.
- VSE, IO-Link Master and Agent connections may require a separate Edge Connect license.
- Design permissions, certificates, backups and service maintenance from the outset for production networks.

On-Premises License
A local installation license for an eligible server, virtual machine or appliance.
Cloud Subscription
A cloud subscription with a specified term and capacity; check the displayed price against the subscription period.
Edge Connect License
